Kimberley is the capital for the the Northern Cape province in South Africa and was founded in 1871. The city is known as 'the city that sparkles' or the diamond city. There are a hub of interesting activities on offer such as big hole & museum, memorial & steam locomotives amongst others. (Updated Nov-12).
