Nakambale, which was built in the late 1870s by Finnish missionary Martti Rauttanen, is believed to be the oldest building in northern Namibia. Nakambale museum explores the history and culture of the Ovambo tribes. The traditional huts are open for guest accommodation and there is an adjacent campsite. The campsite contains five bedded tents with a communal ablution block and a kitchen. Guided tour of the museum is offered.
