Waterfall Bluff is at the southern limit of the Egosa Fault, a massive rift that runs north towards Durban. It is one of the few waterfalls in the world where the water from the river plunges directly into the sea. The falls are approximately 100 metres high. Behind the waterfall the cliffs form a huge overhanging cave, called Grotto cave and this is a fantastic place to rest and enjoy a light lunch. There were also many shallow streams that tumble down rocky staircases and stunning pools into the sea.
